During my recent stay at Backpackers, I found it to be a well-priced option for those visiting the vibrant city of Edinburgh. The location is certainly a major draw, right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore the rich culture and history that resonates here. The rooms themselves, while simple, featured a flat-screen TV and an efficient radiator that allowed us to adjust for comfort—a must for someone like me, who appreciates a cozy environment after a day of exploration. I appreciated having access to free Wi-Fi, which was crucial for keeping in touch with family back in Edinburgh and sharing photos of my adventure. The staff provided a warm welcome and facilitated luggage storage before check-in, a thoughtful touch that made our arrival more pleasant. While we shared bathroom facilities, there were enough available for the number of guests, running smoothly during our stay. Backpackers strikes a nice balance between value and convenience, particularly for travelers seeking a good base in the city without splurging on luxury.
